Simple Wreath Tutorial

Jen Gilday Interiors - Simple Christmas Wreath

Thanksgiving is officially over and we're onto the next holiday!  Bring on the twinkle lights and greenery. I love this time of year!

My porch has been a holiday hybrid this past week. Pumpkins and corn stalks on the steps and a Christmas wreath on the front door. Now I can officially move full speed ahead into Christmas and not feel guilty.

This fall, I fell in love with bells bundled with with twine.  I was antsy to add some to a wreath, but when I went to order some online they were unfortunately sold out.

Like these - aren't they darling?

What to do when something is sold out!?  Make your own!!

I remembered Magnolia had these little bell place card holders from their new Hearth and Hand line at Target.

I promptly ordered 5 of them.  When they arrived a few days later, I got to work hanging them from twine.

My bundle of bells, paired with my Studio McGee wreath and some ribbon created the perfect simple wreath for our front door.

Dan helped me put together a video to show you how to assemble the bells and wreath (well, he put it all together and I stood by and gave my opinion while he worked).  It's the very first Jen Gilday Interiors video.  And it's fun and less than a minute long, so I'd love for you to watch!!

Do you prefer a more simple look with your wreath? Or do you like to add more decor to yours?
