About

Jen’s lifetime love with design started in her early years when she wallpapered her room with magazine ads and constantly rearranged furniture.

After graduating with a business degree from the University of Washington, she began her career by working in the buying offices at Nordstrom.  When Jen relocated to Texas, she worked as an assistant buyer at Bombay Company.  While there, she designed a children's bedroom line and helped with product development. Later, she worked for Pottery Barn on the east coast, assisting with visual displays and working one on one with customers' decorating needs.

A big move across the country brought her home to Washington state, where Jen enjoyed being a stay at home mom. Her design business started organically, as she helped friends bring life to their homes.  As anything worthwhile does, word spread from friends to families and on to other friends.

Having completed a design course with the New York Institute of Art and Design, Jen now runs a successful interior design business. Jen Gilday Interiors continues to grow each year as she helps turn houses into homes and offices into inviting spaces for clients and staff.

Jen currently lives in Washington state with her husband and two kiddos.
