Master Bath Renovation - week 5
This wasn't the most exciting week on the renovation home front. Our tile was backordered.
Ugh.
The first backorder date was May 18th. Then it was due on the 20th. Then it was supposed to be in on the following Monday, available to be picked up Tuesday. And so on and so on and so on.
Finally, Friday the tile arrived!
In preparation for the tile, the subfloor was laid down (that's the orange part). And the heating element for the floors was woven in as well (that's the red wire).
Now you're probably saying "Show me the tile!"
That's what I've been saying all week long.
Here's a sneak peak.
The 2" white hex will go all over the bathroom floors. The shower floor will have a cement look with this 2" gray mosaic. The shower walls and counter/bathtub backsplash will be white subway tile. And the shower niche will provide a bit of contrast and interest with this carrera marble.
I've got my fingers crossed that we get some tile laid this week!
