Client Project : Living Room Before and After
Yesterday I shared about a client project that I just completed. Today I'm going to show you some before and after pictures! Let's look at the inspiration for the room.
Here are a few before pictures of the living room.....
I recruited the help of my handy helper. {Thankfully he doesn't charge much!} I was happy that Dan had the day off because I put him to work unloading the car....and more importantly, ironing!
Now the room has a fresh, now look. Let's take a look at some after images of the room...
We ended up keeping the leather chair, piano and little black bookshelf that were already in the room.
It's a smaller living room so baskets below the coffee table provide extra storage for the family.
And the tray on top of the coffee table help corral the decorative objects and coasters, yet leave plenty of room for reading material as well.
The pillows are made from Schumacher Hothouse Flowers.
I love this fabric for so many reasons. The soft blue color, the touch of black and the variety of the pattern. I had two pillows made but we were able to get a unique look by centering a different part of fabric on each pillow.
This gallery wall will soon have family pictures in them that were taken on the beach vacation.
I lightened up the look of the dark leather chair with a gray throw and cream pillow.
Because I'm so in love with this room makeover, let's take one last look at the before and after!
What do you think!? Turned out great, don't you think!?
